Taize prayer is marked by a spirit of contemplation, the repeated singing of simple refrains and of silence. Scriptures and prayers are chosen for the church season we are in, connecting us to a rich heritage of Christian worship.

Prayer for 2006:

Let me fly
into the arms of God
as a child full of trust
Leaping off the edge of knowing
without a backward glance
Looking straight
ahead to
the one who loves me best
And who joyously
calls out my name

Thanks, Cathy, for preparing a way for the Lord that many of us can follow with you into His presence with silence, singing, and prayers both in solitude & together.
May His Light that is on these ministries be a beacon to many.
With you,
Lorie
